The latest official page proves recent structure—not the next schedule

The Makarska Tourist Board's most recent Advent visitor page found here covers 30 November 2025 to 1 January 2026. It describes a central programme across Kačić Square, Hrpina and Tina Ujević Square, combining music, food, family activity and skating.

That is reliable prior-season context. It must not be rewritten as the 2026/27 dates, daily programme or facility list. Wait for the responsible destination's new publication before promising a concert, ice rink, opening time or New Year event.

Old Town and the harbour make the festive return simplest

The recent programme locations sit in central Makarska. A base around the Old Town or harbour therefore removes the repeated transfer when evening events are the trip's centre of gravity.

Do not convert a broad centre label into a guarantee. Historic-street access, parking, steps, room orientation and the accommodation entrance still need a map and property check. When the 2026/27 event map appears, compare the exact door with the actual locations.

Inland value depends on one honest night route

Municipal evidence keeps Centar, Ratac–Zelenka and Bili Brig–Gorinka as separate contexts. It does not provide a universal tourist boundary, gradient or walking time. At Christmas, shorter daylight and possible wet surfaces make an exact-route check more important, but this guide does not invent a weather forecast or accessibility promise.

Trace the actual route from event square to entrance. Inspect elevation, street crossings, surface, lighting and the point where a taxi could realistically stop. A low room price does not compensate for a return you will avoid every night.

Confirm both the celebration and the operating city

Refresh the official programme when the 2026/27 edition is published, then confirm the accommodation, restaurants, transport and any attraction for the exact dates. The bus-station source establishes an operating transport hub, not a guaranteed festive timetable or door-to-door transfer.

Until those checks close, use flexible accommodation terms and a central shortlist. A destination can have a successful recent Advent and still change its dates, locations, vendors or transport in the following winter.
